How are doctoral candidates in Germany doing?

From 14 April 2025, we will once again invite around 30,000 people who have or are currently studying for a doctorate in Germany to take part in the next online survey of the "National Academics Panel Study" (Nacaps). If you are part of the panel, you will receive a personal invitation with your link to the survey to the e-mail address you have provided.

Since 2019, the study has been very important in regularly checking the scientific qualification phase. It has provided important results and ideas for research, universities and science policy.
